My Honey Mary Kay painted this old barn for me. It makes me feel at home.

Flowers that Match

Mary Kay is very kind hearted. She originally did a painting for a friend. Now the friend (Lupe) has painted her wall and decided it didn't fit. So Mary Kay painted a new floral scene over it.

Amazingly, after only two days Mary Kay produced this charming Italian scene for a friend in Redding.

Mary Kay has a soft heart. A woman at her hairdresser's told her she has a friend who really admires Mary Kay's work and so Mary Kay made the three small pictures shown.

Some friends recently returned from a wonderful Irish vacation. They saw many blacknose sheep there and loved them. This painting is a memento.

St. Mary Magdalene

This beautiful rendition of St. Mary Magdalene was commissioned by a parishoner in honor of his deceased spouse. Not bad for someone who "doesn't do people."

A friend's grandmother

Mary Kay just completed a portrait of a friend's deceased loved grandmother, produced from an old monochromatic photo.

After a vicious person took a knife to it (not the first time), Mary Kay patched the large painting back together and painted two birds to hide the damage:

To all lovers of Mary Kay's art: how would you like to see how it all started when she was a student? Thanks to our recent digitizing a stack of old slides, we have added a new section o her website called archive of oldest art. There are over 100 exanmples ranging from drawings to paintings from the 1970's to the 1980's. The children were a friends kids in 1982. Enjoy.
